This section of the site is to give an explanation and some clarification to some commonly mis understood rules of the game. It will be regularly updated with different rules of the game.
*** All National Associations and Continental Federations have recently been advised as follows: - The New Rules for Hockey will be mandatory with effect from 1st September 2009 in all domestic hockey.
The rules have been revised and amended to encourage free flowing hockey and reduce interuptions to the game- this must be done safely.
